Moodle is a learning platform designed to provide educators, administrators, and students with a single, robust, and secure integrated system for creating personalized learning environments.
Several new features have been added, including support for the latest version of PHP (7) as the main new feature.

New types of interactive questions:
This is a contribution from the Open University to the quiz activity. Several types of drag-and-drop questions have been introduced, both involving images and text with gaps.
Personal messages:
It is now possible to delete messages sent or received through the internal messaging system. However, these messages are not deleted for the other participant.
Tables in the Atto HTML editor:
Atto, Moodle’s default editor, now includes table-editing capabilities, allowing users to control border characteristics, color, and more.
Improvements to course editing:
Course sections can now be edited more easily while taking up less screen space, using a drop-down editing button like the one already available for activities and resources.
Course tags:
Teachers can add predefined tags to their courses or create new ones. Courses can be searched using the tags available on the platform.
Guest access:
The guest access settings have been moved. Instead of being on the course editing page, they are now located among the enrollment plugins, where an optional password can be enabled and configured.
Database entries:
Unapproved entries are highlighted, and teachers can disable editing of existing entries.
Plugin updates:
This update can now be performed in a single step, including any dependencies that may exist between the different plugins.
