Consumer emotions are profitable. In fact, emotion is a necessary ingredient in every decision we make. Emotional connection Emotions, new trends, and a new generation were discussed yesterday at the Customer Experience Congress. It was a congress packed with Marketing and Customer Experience professionals, who analyzed how to reach customers in this era of dizzying change. CEC2015 was characterized by widespread agreement among most of the speakers that we should stop thinking in terms of B2B (Business to Business) and B2C (Business to Customers) and start thinking more in terms of H2H (Human to Human). It is important to see each user or buyer as a unique customer and take an interest in their tastes, preferences, and needs. Adapting to change, and not merely staying one step ahead of what has already been done, are the two fundamental keys to finding ways to connect with consumer emotions. The most important thing is to know and understand our customers well. Therefore, adapting to change is essential for success, as is adapting to the tastes and needs of Generation Z, the millennials.
