Alares’ work-life balance services, available to EDP Renewables employees, ensure a better quality of life for them and their families.
These solutions are managed through Alares Social Special Employment Centre (CEE), so in addition to demonstrating the company’s commitment to improving its employees’ well-being, they also show a stronger commitment to CSR through its support for the employment integration of people with disabilities.
Madrid, October 3. EDP Renewables (EDPR) is an example of commitment to social responsibility. The company is one of the global leaders in the renewable energy sector and the world’s fourth-largest wind power producer, with a presence in twelve markets. EDPR is committed to helping its employees balance their personal, family, and professional lives. Its strategic approach is clear: to ensure that all its employees and their families have access to a range of essential support services for their daily lives.
EDPR once again demonstrates its commitment to and involvement with its employees by providing them with the personal and family assistance solutions they need, so that they can feel more at ease and satisfied in their professional and personal lives. In addition, in most cases, these solutions are key to improving the workplace environment and increasing productivity. For EDPR, "these measures will enable employees to make the most of their work and leisure time with greater peace of mind, since their families will receive care whenever they may need it."
To this end, they have placed their trust in Alares’ work-life balance services, both because of its extensive experience of more than 15 years and because it is the only company that guarantees the direct provision of these services through its own staff. In addition, because the services are managed through Alares Social (CEE), they will enable the company to increase its compliance rate with the New General Law on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and Their Social Inclusion, in line with the initiatives promoted by the Ministry of Health, Social Services and Equality.
