Grupo Alares collaborates on a new project to support women experiencing gender-based violence

This program is presented to the Public Administration and citizens as an integrated solution for managing and assisting victims of gender-based violence.

The solution consists of a BlackBerry mobile phone, which helps avoid the stigma often associated with existing devices and enables law enforcement to locate the victim using highly accurate maps. It is a system that allows law enforcement to reduce response times and therefore significantly improve victims’ safety, helping them and their families live with greater peace of mind.

In addition to the technical advances, the solution presented to a large group of experts in the field has placed particular emphasis on the need to provide victims with social services capable of improving their quality of life.

Thanks to Alares®, victims will have access to a social telephone service they can call to resolve any questions or deal with feelings of anxiety, nervousness, sadness, and more. This service is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and is unlimited, allowing victims to feel more at ease. Alares® also offers consultation services with doctors, lawyers, dietitians, psychologists, and others, both for the device holder and their family (children and parents). In addition, with people’s day-to-day needs in mind, miAsistente is the perfect solution for all those tasks that can be somewhat difficult to handle because of the challenging circumstances faced by victims of gender-based violence.

With this service, users can access telepharmacy services, administrative assistance, resource searches, babysitters, and more. These resources are undoubtedly intended to be the most human aspect of the project.
Nevertheless, we must not forget that this project includes leading companies in their respective sectors. Proof of this is that the phone is a BlackBerry, the location maps are owned by Blom, and the telecommunications operator is Orange.
