“Equality in the Company”

The call for applications from the Ministry of Equality for the “Equality in the Workplace” distinction is now open. This seal of corporate recognition aims to acknowledge and distinguish companies that promote equal treatment and opportunities for women and men. The application period to obtain this distinction began on April 10 and will remain open for two months from that date. Subsequently, the Ministry of Equality will have six months to assess the applications. To apply for this recognition, companies must submit a report outlining the equality practices they implement. Among other aspects, the presence of groups facing difficulties accessing employment and the status of the equality measures implemented will be evaluated. In addition, this equality distinction, which will be valid for three years, will be taken into consideration when public contracts are awarded, under the terms and conditions set out in the LOI. However, companies granted this equality seal will be required to submit an annual report demonstrating that they continue to maintain a high standard of excellence in equality.
