Presentation of the 2011 Corresponsables Yearbook

Last Monday, MediaResponsable Publishing held the 20th Corresponsables Conference, an event that also served to present the 2011 Corresponsables Yearbook, a leading publication in the field of CSR. This latest edition includes the main conclusions of the Fifth Corresponsables Report, the largest study on CSR conducted to date, with the participation of 287 experts. It also features opinion pieces by national and international organizations, as well as 90 examples of good practices from companies, public administrations, academia, and the media. With more than 300 pages in its print edition, the sixth edition of this yearbook assesses the evolution of corporate social responsibility not only from the perspective of companies, but also from that of the various stakeholders. This latest edition is highly optimistic about the future of CSR as a creator of value for companies. In fact, the publication states that 60% of respondents believe their company will make progress in CSR next year. Furthermore, the document notes that the environment, human resources, and social action continue to be the most important areas of CSR according to respondents. As for the challenges facing CSR, it indicates that the one mentioned most often by respondents is incorporating CSR into the management model.
