The jury of the SUPERCaregivers Awards, organized by UNIR Cuidadores, the International University of La Rioja, recognized Alares’ initiatives and policies aimed at improving the quality of life of caregivers and dependents, as well as facilitating work-life balance for its employees.
Alares has won first prize in the Companies in the Social and Healthcare Sector category of the 2015 SUPERCaregivers Awards, held yesterday and organized by the International University of La Rioja (UNIR) through “UNIR Cuidadores.”
In its first edition, “UNIR Cuidadores” recognized the work carried out by Alares, a company that for more than 15 years has been dedicated to helping everyone access personal, family, and professional assistance services that enable them to enjoy life and be freer and more independent in their daily lives, thanks to improved quality of life and professional development.
Mr. Javier Benavente Barrón, President of Alares, accepted the award from Mr. Gaetano Battocchio, General Manager of ASISA Servicios, and stated that “receiving this award provides additional encouragement for Alares and for everyone who works at the company.” “It is an endorsement of the work we are doing and of our mission to ensure that home-based care services are available and accessible to everyone in our country, regardless of where they live or their financial situation,” he added.

The recognition awarded in the legal entities categories focused on honoring initiatives and policies aimed at facilitating employees’ work-life balance, improving the quality of life of caregivers and dependents, giving visibility to the role of caregivers, and promoting corporate social responsibility policies.
In addition to Alares, Family and Professional Caregivers and 15 other organizations—including companies, associations, media outlets, and institutions—received awards at the First Edition of the SUPERCaregivers Awards.
