Applications are now open for the 1st Business Diversity Management Award

Applications may be submitted until next November 13. Recognition photo for corporate diversity management

The Diversity Foundation, in collaboration with the Institute for Women and Equal Opportunities, is organizing the 1st Recognition for Corporate Diversity Management, with the aim of honoring companies’ best practices in this area.

The purpose of these recognitions is to acknowledge initiatives that showcase diversity management models committed to integration, equal opportunities for all employees, and sustainability. Being a signatory to the Diversity Charter is an essential requirement.

Three categories have been established: Recognition for the best practice by an SME, Recognition for the best practice by a large company—both categories with first and second place—and Recognition for the best practice by a company from another EU country.

The winners, who will be announced during the Gala to be held as a public event in February, will receive an honorary mention bearing the distinction of the 1st Recognition for Good Practices in Diversity Management.

Companies interested in participating in this recognition, a project carried out with the support of the European Union under the PROGRESS program JUST/2013/PROG/AG/AD, will have to prepare a report that may include the policies and objectives developed, their connection with the organization’s strategic plan, the team responsible for managing diversity policies, the groups with and for which the work is carried out, and the evaluation measures, results, and impacts. To find out the rules, register an application, or obtain further information, they can do so through www.fundacióndiversidad.org or by email at fundaciondiversidad@fundaciondiversidad.org
