Alares® begins managing the Day Care Service for Older Adults of the Mula City Council in the Region of Murcia

Alares®, a company specializing in family assistance, has begun managing the Day Stay Service at the Day Center for Older People operated by the Honorable Mula City Council in the Region of Murcia. This is already the second center managed by Alares® in this autonomous community. This service, which Alares® began providing on January 21, will remain in effect for two years, with the possibility of extension to four. Throughout this collaboration, Alares® will meet the daytime needs of the center’s users with a clear objective: to improve the quality of life of older people and their family caregivers, enabling them to remain in their usual environment while receiving the professional care they require, through comprehensive, social-healthcare, preventive, and rehabilitative services for this group of older people. At the Mula Day Stay Center, Alares® will provide comprehensive social-healthcare, preventive, and rehabilitative services to older people in the surrounding area, limiting admission to residential care facilities to strictly necessary cases. All of this will be carried out in accordance with the strictest quality standards established by Alares®, audited by AENOR and backed by UNE-EN ISO 9001:2000 certification.

Alares makes its own network of professionals available to Mula City Council

To provide this service, Alares® has made its own network of professionals available to the Honorable Mula City Council, ensuring complete oversight of each and every service provided. The staff responsible for delivering the service include physiotherapists, social workers, and geriatric and nursing assistants. The services that Alares® will provide at the center include Meals (breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack), Healthcare (monitoring medical treatments, recuperative activities, physiotherapy programs, personal care and hygiene, etc.), and Social Care (group therapy for caregivers; rehabilitative treatment consisting of physiotherapy and occupational therapy; cultural and recreational activities, etc.). By managing the Day Stay Service at this center, Alares® is continuing its strategy of encouraging individuals, companies, and institutions to participate in the collective process of building a social reality with a better quality of life for citizens.
