Alares Social increases the number of employees with disabilities by 27% in 2015

The Alares Foundation and Alares Social Special Employment Centre (CEE), in line with their commitment to people with disabilities, are making their social and occupational inclusion a reality through their “Employment Objective” Programme. The “Employment Objective” Programme features a comprehensive strategy that facilitates training, job placement services, and inclusion in the labor market. Both organizations will attend the 9th Employment Fair for People with Disabilities in the Community of Madrid, with the aim of helping reduce the unemployment rate among people with disabilities, which stands at around 40%. Alares Social CEE, a leader in the social and occupational inclusion of people with disabilities, continues to create jobs. Throughout 2015, compared with the previous year, it increased the number of hires by 27%, with forecasts of exceeding 30% before the end of the year. The Alares Methodology applied to People Management, implemented by both organizations, forms the foundation of this growth. Its main features are the professional development and satisfaction of the people working at the organization, as well as the high level of quality perceived by its clients. Both organizations, aware that the unemployment rate among people with disabilities—which stands at around 40%—is a social priority, have the ultimate goal of promoting the labor-market inclusion of people with disabilities, with particular emphasis on the mainstream labor market. In line with this commitment, Alares Social CEE and the Alares Foundation will participate in the 9th Employment Fair for People with Disabilities in the Community of Madrid, to be held on November 18 and 19 at IFEMA. By attending the fair, both organizations aim to attract as many candidates as possible in order to select and hire people with disabilities, both at Alares Social itself and at companies in different sectors. The CEE is seeking candidates for all types of roles, including positions requiring a high level of qualification. During 2015, Alares Social made a significant investment in facilities and infrastructure and currently has 300 operational positions running simultaneously in the Community of Madrid.
