Bankinter is taking another step in its commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion by expanding its support for the Diversity Foundation. The two parties have just renewed their agreement, under which Bankinter becomes a protecting partner of the foundation.
The aim of strengthening this commitment is to increase national and international initiatives that promote inclusion in the workplace. Bankinter’s accession as a protecting partner of the Diversity Foundation will make it possible to establish various areas of collaboration and joint work between the two institutions, through which they seek to generate knowledge and social awareness regarding equality, diversity, and inclusion.
Bankinter was one of the first companies to join the group of businesses supporting the Diversity Foundation, as it signed on in 2010. With the bank’s support, the foundation is increasing its ability to promote the so-called "Diversity Charter", a charter of commitments promoted by the foundation and the Directorate-General for Justice of the European Commission, whose purpose is to encourage good practices in managing and including diversity in the workplace.
Since 2009, the Diversity Foundation’s purpose has been to promote the creation of inclusive workplaces, putting an end to all forms of discrimination and strengthening the commitment to diverse teams as an added value for any organization.
