At AESP, we have had the honor of receiving the 2nd Annual Family Award, which was presented at the 6th Annual Family Lecture organized by The Family Watch.
The event was presided over by Ms. Susana Camarero, Secretary of State for Health, Social Services and Equality, who shared her reflections on the importance of policies that promote the progress and well-being of children.
We then had the pleasure of attending the keynote lecture delivered by Mr. Carmelo Angulo, President of the Spanish Committee of UNICEF, which focused on the need to promote “A Sustainable Future for Children’s Rights.” The lecture offered a broad overview of the issues affecting children, the situation of children since the Convention on the Rights of the Child in 1989, and the solutions proposed to make committed progress toward strong protection for children.
Subsequently, Mr. Javier Benavente, President of the Spanish Association of Personal Assistance Services, accepted this award on behalf of the association. The award was presented by The Family Watch, the organizers and promoters of the event, in recognition of the association’s contribution to improving the quality of life of families.
We would like to express our heartfelt thanks.
