A key measure is the organization of flexible working hours to help employees reconcile their work and family lives. To date, 178 companies in Spain have already been recognized as Family-Responsible Companies.
In 2009, more than a thousand small and medium-sized businesses in Spain prepared their first Annual Corporate Social Responsibility Report as an initial measure to promote actions and strategies in economic, social, and environmental areas and enable them to establish a position in this field.
There is no doubt that using CSR effectively entails recognizing and upholding workers’ labor rights, while also providing added value for the company.
