The celebration of this anniversary began with a reflection on the evolution of CSR in recent years and the main milestones the organization has achieved during its existence.
In addition, during the celebration, Forética’s General Assembly of Members was held, where the admission of 25 new members to an association dedicated to promoting a culture of social responsibility among organizations was ratified. With these new additions, the association now has a total of 241 members.
The Board of Directors was also renewed during the assembly. The representatives elected in the promoting members category were Adif, Caja Navarra, Ferrovial, Gas Natural Fenosa, Grupo Fundosa, Grupo Norte, and Sanitas; MediaResponsable and Servimedia as organizational members; Bureau Veritas in the certifying organizations category; Acción contra el Hambre as the representative of the NGO group; and Félix Velasco representing individual members.
Following the assembly, a workshop was held on new methods for dialogue with stakeholders, where all members worked together and contributed new ideas for the association’s future. Forética will use the results of this workshop, Forética, as a roadmap for incorporating its members’ views into its 2020 strategy, which is currently being developed.
