Establishing training mechanisms for informal caregivers is the request the Senate is making of the Government. For this reason, the Senate’s Committee on Health and Social Policy has approved a motion to improve the training of caregivers of dependent people.
Specifically, they are requesting that this training content be admissible under the professional certification requirements for caring for dependent people. In other words, the preparation of nonprofessional caregivers should be aligned with vocational training.
In addition, the motion calls for funding to be allocated to each autonomous community so that this training can be promoted.
