FEDER Foundation and Alares Foundation work together for people with disabilities

Improving the quality of life and well-being of families affected by rare diseases is one of the principles underlying the collaboration agreement between Fundación Alares and Fundación Teletón FEDER for Rare Disease Research (Spanish Federation of Rare Diseases). From now on, the Foundation will have a new Institutional Partner, together with which it will seek to reach people and families suffering from the isolation and loneliness caused by unknown conditions.

Fundación FEDER wants to make it clear that it supports integration into the labor market as a tool for overcoming health conditions and achieving the personal autonomy we all need. In this regard, the social and labor integration of people with disabilities is one of the principles to which both foundations devote the most effort, as organizations need to recognize this group as an opportunity to become more competitive.

This collaboration agreement represents another step forward for Fundación FEDER and Fundación Alares® in developing initiatives to support people. From now on, both organizations will share synergies to organize events and conferences, as well as conduct studies and projects related to people’s quality of life.

All projects and joint initiatives between the two organizations will be carried out through a joint committee, in which each will have a voice and vote.
