Barcelona Activa hosted the event “Commitment to innovation through diversity management” on April 19, organized by Diversity Foundation.
At the event, six new companies committed to the principles of the Diversity Charter for the first time, bringing the total to more than 700 companies that have signed it. In addition, 16 companies renewed their commitment. This demonstrates the strong commitment of Catalan organizations to Diversity Management. The event also saw the presentation of “The Diversity Management Index”, a method used to validate the renewal of the Diversity Charter by 102 companies, 34 of them from Catalonia. It has made it possible to analyze practices, revealing, among other findings, that 99% of Catalan companies communicate their commitment to diversity to their customers. Another positive finding is that 79% of companies in Catalonia evaluate their diversity policies. The study shows that more than 22,000 employees at the 34 Catalan companies in the sample are aware of the Diversity Charter commitment.
