The Alares Foundation organized two sessions under the title “Employment Objective: Strengthening and Improving Social Skills for People with Disabilities,” aimed at increasing the social competence and adaptation to work environments of people with disabilities, in order to expand their employment opportunities and/or help them keep their current jobs for as long as possible.
The sessions lasted 10 hours, divided into two five-hour sessions.
Our director at the Alares Foundation, Mar Aguilera, states that “this training model is designed to help people with disabilities expand their employment opportunities and/or keep their current jobs for as long as possible. We believe it is extremely important for people with disabilities to have the resources to advocate for their abilities in an environment as complex as the current one.”
