Under this title, the Spanish Committee of Representatives of Persons with Disabilities (CERMI) has published a report on the effects of the current economic crisis on Corporate Social Responsibility strategies concerning disability. This study seeks to determine whether the economic and social situation in our country has led to a reduction in CSR projects aimed at inclusion and improving the quality of life of people with disabilities.
According to CERMI, the study concludes that, in general, companies have allocated fewer resources to their social action policies because of the effects of the crisis. However, this reduction is less pronounced among organizations that view CSR as a strategic issue.
