Alares Group is participating in the conference series organized as part of the 5th Madrid Job Fair for People with Disabilities and is highlighting the value of quality training as the key to achieving a better quality of life.
Work-life balance is emerging as a new challenge for people with disabilities. The Community of Madrid Job Fair for People with Disabilities brings together more than 100 institutions working to support people with disabilities in its fifth edition. Among the activities organized, the conference series on disability and employment stands out. Mar Aguilera, Director of the Alares Foundation, participated with a presentation entitled "Work-life balance and disability." Aguilera states: "Work-life balance therefore means creating the conditions for improved competitiveness. Above all, however, it means eliminating conditions that lead to discrimination, impoverish the economy, reduce citizens' quality of life, and waste the talent of those who are unable to pursue their employment and professional development as they would like."
Alares Group has its own booth, where the Alares Foundation, Alares Empleo ETT, and Alares Social CEE provide information about employment opportunities and specific job-search strategies, as well as the benefits for organizations of hiring people with disabilities. For the Group, with more than 12 years of experience working to improve quality of life, it is essential to consider work-life balance as a key tool for achieving genuine and 100% complete integration into society.
The Fair
Under the slogan "Make Your Ability Count," the 5th Job Fair for People with Disabilities has chosen to include Alares Group, whose approach is based on being a comprehensive solution for companies that need to integrate people with disabilities into their workforces. This solution-focused approach is made possible through the partnership between the Alares Foundation and Alares Social CEE, which are presenting a new tool this year that allows companies to "try out" whether a person is suitable for the position. This tool is Alares Empleo ETT, whose aim is to give organizations the opportunity to temporarily hire the person with a disability they need.
Fair attendees can visit the Alares Group booth and learn firsthand about the employment potential of people with disabilities, the major employment opportunities available in the sector, and, of course, the importance of training suited to each company's needs. All these principles are based on the Group's philosophy, which has recognized the different circumstances an organization faces when complying with LISMI.
