CSR reports help restore trust in companies

The social responsibility reports prepared by organizations help restore trust in companies, the financial sector, and governments, which was lost due to the current crises. This is one of the conclusions reached by several studies supported by the Global Reporting Initiative. In addition, these reports highlight that the global economy is moving toward greater transparency, as large companies are becoming an important focal point for stakeholders who expect a high degree of transparency from them regarding their products and services. These studies also show that progress is being made in regulating the preparation of reports, as well as in the relationship between these reports and the challenges facing today’s society.
