Madrid hosts the first film festival for deaf people

From today through next December 21, the Círculo de Bellas Artes of Madrid will host the first accessible Documentary Film, Short Film, and Video Art Festival for Deaf People. The initiative was launched by the Spanish National Confederation of Deaf People (CNSE) and aims to showcase and promote the artistic concerns of people with this disability. The festival will screen films starring, directed, or produced by Deaf people, as well as works that reflect their social reality.
