The aim of this plan, according to the Ministry of Labour and Immigration, is to improve the job prospects of those who are currently unemployed.
This money will be distributed between the program’s two areas, as explained by Maravillas Rojo, Secretary General for Employment. On the one hand, €610.7 million will be allocated to “promoting entrepreneurship and improving the adaptability of workers and businesses.” On the other, €2.0646 billion will be earmarked for “promoting employability, social inclusion, and equality between men and women.”
Measures such as this will assist all those without jobs through job-search and résumé-update workshops, with the aim of improving their professional skills and their relationship with businesses.
