An emphatic NO to a 65-hour workweek

Yesterday, in Strasbourg, the European Parliament rejected the proposal to extend the working week to 65 hours. By an absolute majority, Parliament voted against it and supported an amendment proposed by a Spanish member of parliament, requiring the governments of the 27 member states to return to negotiations.
