Under the Selfie for European Diversity Day initiative, Fundación Diversidad wants people of different genders, ethnicities, disabilities, races, sexual orientations, religions, cultures, ages, etc. to be encouraged to share their #SelfieporlaDiversidad in the most diverse and enriching setting there is: social media.
The objective of this campaign, which starts today, is for society to support and become aware that diversity is part of everyone. Through the image created for this day and with the hashtag #SelfieporlaDiversidad The aim is for as many people as possible to make the hashtag go viral and upload “selfies” with their colleagues, family, friends, etc., thereby demonstrating that diversity is everywhere. In this way, we are joining the fun “selfie” trend while enriching the concept with the intention of raising awareness of diversity among everyone.
In addition to this campaign, on European Diversity Day, Fundación Diversidad, an organization promoted by Fundación Alares, will hold an event on June 11 in collaboration with the Secretary of State for Social Services and Equality.
