Their Majesties the King and Queen of Spain, presidents of the 2015 Alares National Awards

The ninth edition of the Alares National Awards for Work-Life, Family and Personal-Life Balance and Social Responsibility will take place on June 24 at the CaixaForum Auditorium in Madrid.

Their Majesties the King and Queen of Spain will be honorary presidents of the Alares National Awards for Work-Life, Family and Personal-Life Balance and Social Responsibility, awards that are celebrating their ninth edition this year due to the success of previous editions.

The aim of these awards is to recognize the effort and commitment of the various institutions, companies, social partners, executives, professors, researchers, and media outlets to promote work/family/personal-life balance, shared responsibility, and Social Responsibility—essential elements for improving Quality of Life and business competitiveness.

This edition, which will have Their Majesties the King and Queen of Spain as Honorary Presidents, represents a major challenge for the Alares Foundation, always with the aim of highlighting the importance of work-family balance in a society like ours.

In the words of Mar Aguilera, Director of the Alares Foundation, “having Their Majesties the King and Queen as Honorary Presidents fills us with pride and encourages us to continue working to promote and develop People’s Quality of Life and business competitiveness.”

These awards are an example of positive initiatives and vital tools to help Spain become a leader among the group of countries working hardest to improve People’s Quality of Life, Equal Opportunities, and Business Competitiveness.

The committee of experts is currently evaluating all the applications submitted. The jury’s decision will be announced in June, and the winners will receive their awards during the gala on June 24 at the CaixaForum Auditorium.

The Alares National Awards Gala is an event attended by the most important representatives of the work-life and family-life balance sector in our country.
