5th National Alzheimer’s Congress

SEGG, CEAFA, and SEN are once again joining forces to organize the 5th National Alzheimer's Congress, a meeting point for everyone directly or indirectly involved with Alzheimer's disease.

From October 25 to 27, 2012, family members of people with Alzheimer's disease, healthcare professionals, and workers in the associative movement will make our way to the Kursaal Congress Centre and Auditorium in San Sebastián to share not only an intensive work program but also a commitment to combat the disease and help improve the quality of life of those affected by it.

Thus, the 5th National Alzheimer's Congress has two fundamental objectives:

  • First, to advocate for the role of all healthcare professionals in the journey that patients with Alzheimer's disease undertake through our healthcare system
  • Second, to recognize and strengthen family caregivers as active participants in the social and healthcare process, while also recognizing them as recipients of care within that process.

Because we can join forces to confront the disease, treat patients, and care for caregivers.
