The tools required to prepare the dishes (pots, pans, knives, appliances, etc.) and the necessary ingredients are not included. You must provide them when the service is provided.
In addition, you must let us know if you or any of your guests have any type of allergy so that we can take everything into account.
Each service lasts 3 hours. If you need more time, do not hesitate to book as many services as you consider necessary. We recommend that for a dinner for several people or involving several dishes, you always choose a minimum of 2 services.
If the chef has to travel to purchase a missing ingredient, this will not be a problem, but you should bear in mind that the time spent making the purchase will count toward the time available for the service (maximum 3 hours), and you will be responsible for the cost of the ingredients. To ensure that no service is left unfinished, if the chef determines that there will not be enough time to finish the requested dishes, you will be informed so that you can book an additional service and have all the dishes prepared. If you do not wish to make a new booking, the chef will tell you the stage the dishes have reached so that you can finish them yourself; you may not hold the chef or Vivofácil responsible for the dishes not being completed.
The service is available Monday through Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Services are provided anywhere in Spain, with a service start time of 24 to 72 hours from the first working hour after the request is submitted. (This depends on the urgency, the possibility of scheduling the required services, and the availability of suitable professionals in the customer's area.) In small towns, the time before the service can begin may be extended to a maximum of 5 business days, depending on availability in the area.
Any request received after 3:00 p.m. on Fridays will be processed from 9:00 a.m. the following Monday.
Travel to your home is always FREE, but in areas that are difficult to access and can only be reached by private vehicle, or in sparsely populated areas or areas lacking personnel available for hire, the price may vary. We suggest that you call us at 900 877 977 before booking the service so that we can find the best solution.
You have two options. Most commonly, you have the ingredients at home (we can help you plan the shopping list needed for your chosen menu). If you prefer to leave everything to us, we can include a shopping service (the time spent going to the supermarket would count as service time, and the cost of the food is paid separately).
No, it isn't necessary. Our cooks adapt to your home kitchen. They will use your frying pans, pots, blender, and oven. The only thing we need is for you to have enough food containers or airtight containers to store all the food we prepare for the week.
Of course. An essential part of the service is leaving the kitchen exactly as we found it. While the food is cooking, the professional will collect and wash the utensils used, so that you only find the pleasant smell of food and a full fridge—not a pile of dirty dishes.
It depends on the complexity of the dishes and the number of people, but typically, during a 3- to 5-hour service, enough food for several days of lunches and dinners can be prepared for an average family, taking advantage of cooking times to prepare several dishes simultaneously.
