Once the service has been requested, we can begin providing the service within 6 to 48 hours on working days in provincial capitals and large towns. In the case of small towns, the period may be extended to a maximum of 72 hours (3 days), depending on availability in the area. We therefore recommend requesting the service as far in advance as possible. In the event of any unforeseen circumstances, Vivofácil provides civil liability insurance to cover any incident. It depends on the level. In Primary School and the first years of Compulsory Secondary Education, we usually assign generalist professionals who can help with homework in all subjects (Math, Language, and Science). In Upper Secondary School, as the syllabus is more complex, it is ideal to hire specialist teachers by subject area (one for Science/Technology and another for Humanities, if necessary).
The essence of Vivofácil is in-person service at home. We believe that the connection created face-to-face and the teacher’s ability to see how the student writes and solves problems on paper are irreplaceable. However, if you prefer an online format for any reason, please contact us.
Pedagogically, it is advisable to maintain a fixed routine (e.g., “Tuesdays and Thursdays at 5:00 p.m.”) to establish a study habit. However, we understand that unforeseen circumstances arise (medical appointments, trips). If you need flexibility, you can arrange it with the service in advance, according to the stipulated notice period, so the teacher’s schedule can be reorganized.
The “feeling” is essential for learning. If you notice that the teacher’s methodology or personality is not a good fit for your child, just call us. As a responsible agency, we will quickly arrange a change of professional to find the ideal tutor to motivate the student.
